Beef soup with vegetables...

“PUCHICA” is a guatemalan slang word that we use every day when we talk. However, because of this very merit, it’s a little difficult to pin down one concrete definition for it. I think it’s best to merely describe it as an expression of wonderment and/or surprise. Example: Puchica que lugar tan bonito Wow what a nice place Puchica que buena comida  Damn such a good food

Ready for a taste of Guatemala food?

Guatemala food and drink is primarily influenced by the country’s Mayan and Spanish cultures. Many breakfasts in Guatemala take advantage of the country’s abundant tropical fruits, like bananas, papaya, mangoes, and avocado. And of course, no Guatemala breakfast is complete without a mug of world-class Guatemalan coffee. Kak’ik: A traditional Mayan turkey soup, with spices like coriander, achiote, and chile peppers. A must-try.
